YOUR CART, YOUR CHOICE

Elected officials and pro-tax advocacy groups should not be dictating what you can and can’t eat or drink. These choices are yours – and yours alone.

Elected officials and pro-tax advocacy groups should not be dictating what you can and can’t eat or drink. These choices are yours – and yours alone.

When you go to the grocery store, do you ever think: “What does my elected official want me to eat and drink?” That would be outrageous, right?

Americans consistently oppose efforts by elected officials to limit their food and beverage choices. But some politicians won’t listen to this message.

Consumers are more than capable of deciding what goes into their grocery cart, and their choices should not be dedicated by politicians.

Only you can and should decide what is best for you and your family. Tell your elected officials to stay out of your grocery cart. It’s your choice, not theirs.

“Government overreach on obesity…is a recipe for expanding government with inflated promises unlikely to be fulfilled.”
